Robert D. Lutton is a highly experienced real estate executive with over 30 years in the business. Since 1970, he has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility rising to the top of his field.
1994 to Present
Chairman, Aegis Properties Corporation
Established this firm to manage and invest in all types of properties, especially office buildings. Owns a substantial interest in and manages the Harris Bank Building, Palatine, Illinois, the Madison Community Bank Tower in the Indianapolis area, Governor's Office Park Buildings in Olympia Fields, Illinois, and the Merrillville Office Center in Merrillville, Indiana. Has successfully managed the Hyde Park Bank Building and related bank owned properties and facilities since late 1994.
1981 to 1993
Executive Vice President, JMB Realty Corporation
Held positions of increasing responsibility, eventually in 1987 being promoted to head the Office Management Group. Responsible for the formulation of policy, marketing, and the direction of operations of properties across the United States. The Group included 6 regions and 20 area offices. Established and then supervised the Design and Construction Group which completed millions of dollars of tenant construction each year and over 45 renovations projects totaling over $75,0000,000. Organized one of the most comprehensive and effective cost reduction programs in the industry. Also oversaw all property management training that included responsibility for developing all of the company's systems, procedures and operations manuals.
1975 To 1981
Principal and President, EBCO Realty and Management Company
Built this company into one of the largest property management firms in the Chicago Area managing over 9,000 multi-family units, especially condominiums in over 40 separate properties. Growth, internally and by acquisition, amounted to a three-fold increase in business.
1974 to 1975
Vice-President, LaSalle Partners, Inc.
Responsible for the operations of First Continental Realty Fund, the owner of apartments and commercial properties nationwide. Later, as a result of success in operating the fund, assumed the direction of all field operations of the property management division.
1970 to 1974
Midwest Regional Director, Arlen Realty Management Co., & Arlen Communities Corp.
Responsible for the Midwest properties of the United States Investment Fund that controlled a portfolio of over 250 major income-producing properties, which, at the time were worth over one billion dollars. The Region more than doubled in size during this period to 20 directly managed office buildings, shopping centers, and apartment properties. Was also responsible for 44 leaseback properties. Actively involved with converting several properties to condominiums.
