H. Timothy Allwardt has more than 30 years of experience managing both residential and commercial properties. Starting at an entry-level position he was promoted within the company to eventually become the chief operating officer in a nationally renowned real estate firm. He is now co-founder of this highly successful real estate firm.
1994 to Present
President, Aegis Properties Corporation
The firm was established to manage and invest in major properties. In the first year of operating, the firm took over the management of the Hyde Park Bank Properties as well as representing them in expansion plans. Occupancy is successfully maintained at 98%+ from 91%.
Since founding Aegis Properties Corporation in 1994, he has successfully managed The Promontory Apartments, a prominent historic high-rise cooperative on South Lake Shore Drive. During the first year of management he established new operating procedures, hired new staff and completed a major facade restoration. A thorough preventative maintenance program was also implemented. Has gone on to manage many other properties that include condominiums, cooperatives and office buildings.
1986 to 1994
Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, The Clinton Company
This position involved direct supervision of 7 senior managers and a staff of 130. Company business included 1038 apartments, a 900-car parking facility, a 6,000 square foot Gourmet Market, a 20,000 square foot fitness center, and a 20-acre housing development in Minneapolis.
1981 to 1985
Vice President Of Operatons, The Clinton Company
In this position he had direct authority and responsibility for major aspects and the redevelopment of Regents Park. This included extensive concrete restoration, and the redevelopment of a 250,000 square foot garage, the interconnection of major mechanical facilities and a redevelopment of the entire security operation. In addition, the position included establishing new businesses and personally hiring, training, and developing staff.
1979 to 1981
General Manager, The Clinton Company
This position's primary focus was on marketing programs. Occupancy was increased from 52% to 95%. Developed and administered building policies and procedures.
1976 to 1979
Director Of Operations, The Clinton Company
Here he had primary responsibility for a physical plant of 1.3 million square feet and a staff of 60. Negotiated and administered outside contracting work. Established and administered preventative maintenance programs.
